Terms of Service

These terms apply to the use of Obolus Finance Apps, including calculators, websites, APIs, the OpenAPI specification, and MCP servers.

1. Provider

The provider is Obolus Finanz Apps, owned by Dario Baehrle. Full provider and contact details are available in the legal notice.

2. Scope of service

Obolus provides digital calculators, information pages, API endpoints, and MCP tools for tax, salary, net income, and comparison calculations. Results are generated from user-provided inputs and the calculation assumptions implemented in the service.

3. No tax, legal, or financial advice

All content and calculation results are provided for general orientation only. They do not replace individual tax, legal, financial, investment, or payroll advice. For binding guidance, consult qualified advisors or the responsible public authorities.

4. User responsibility

Users are responsible for checking their inputs and verifying results before using them for important decisions. Obolus may not be used for unlawful purposes, abusive automation, circumvention of technical protections, or overloading the services.

5. API and MCP use

API and MCP endpoints are intended for legitimate, read-only calculation and comparison requests. The services do not create, modify, or delete user accounts or third-party data. Obolus may apply technical limits, abuse prevention, and security measures.

6. Availability and changes

Obolus aims to operate reliably but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Features, calculation assumptions, interfaces, and content may be changed, extended, or discontinued.

7. Liability

Obolus is liable under statutory rules for intent and gross negligence. For ordinary negligence, Obolus is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to foreseeable damage. Liability for life, body, health, and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

8. Privacy

Information about personal data processing, API/MCP logs, and your rights is available in the privacy policy.

9. Applicable law and contact
